Homemade Limoncello



A well-known Italian digestive, limencello is very easy and economical to prepare. It is better to use 96° alcohol for this recipe than 40° for better extraction of essential oils. To consume with moderation !

1 sauce pan 1 strainer 1 glass bottle 1L

Instructions

  • Put the alcohol in a bottle and add the lemon zest.
  • Leave to stand for three weeks away from light.
  • Make a syrup with a glass of water and the powdered sugar: heat over low heat in a saucepan until the crystals are completely dissolved.
  • When the syrup has cooled, filter the alcohol to remove the zest and add the syrup and the rest of the water
  • To be enjoyed chilled as a digestive!
