Ingredients for 6 parts
- 100 g. butter
- 100 g. sugar
- 1 c. à c. ground cinnamon
- 200 g. soft / patent flour
- 1 c. à s. vanilla sugar
- 800 g. apples red delicious
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Wash, peel, and cut the apples into pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the apples with the vanilla sugar and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the flour and sugar. Add the cold butter cut into pieces and rub with your fingertips until you get a sandy texture.
- Arrange the apples in a gratin dish and cover with the crumble topping.
- Bake for 35 minutes, or until the crumble is golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm or hot.
