Ingredients for 4 parts
- 0.25 c. à c. sea salt
- 2 onions
- 0.25 c. à c. black pepper
- 100 ml. vin blanc
- 200 ml. jus de veau
- 2 c. à s. tomato juice from concentrate
- 50 ml. white wine vinegar9
Steps
- Finely slice the onions.
- In a saucepan, sauté the sliced onions until they are translucent.
- Add the white wine and white wine vinegar. Let it reduce almost to dry.
- Add the veal stock and tomato paste. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Serve hot with grilled meats, poultry, or eggs.
