Ingredients for 3 parts
- 1 c. à s. sugar
- 0.25 c. à c. sea salt
- 500 ml. frying oil
- 150 ml. water
- 0.5 cucumber
- 100 g. soft / patent flour
- 150 g. riz rond
- 0.5 carrot
- 0.5 avocado
- 2 c. à s. rice vinegar
- 3 nori sheets
- 200 g. shrimps
Steps
- Prepare the rice: cook the round rice in a saucepan according to package instructions. In a bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt. Add this mixture to the cooked rice and mix gently.
- Prepare the tempura: in a bowl, mix the flour and ice water. Heat the frying oil in a fryer or saucepan.
- Dip the prawns in the tempura batter and fry until golden and crispy.
- Cut the cucumber, carrot, and avocado into thin strips.
- On a sushi mat, spread a sheet of nori. Cover with vinegared rice, leaving a small margin at the top. Arrange the tempura prawns and vegetables on the rice.
- Roll firmly using the sushi mat. Cut the rolls into slices.
- Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
