Ingredients for 6 parts
- 3 eggs
- 200 g. sugar
- 300 g. soft / patent flour
- 65 ml. sunflower oil
- 1 baking powder
- 1 yogurt
- 200 g. milk chocolate
- 5 c. à c. whipping cream
- 100 g. smarties
- 150 g. fingers
- 3 c. à c. nutella
Steps
- Preheat the oven to Th.6 or 180°C. In a bowl, break the whole eggs.
- Add 2 yogurt pots of sugar.
- Mix with a whisk.
- Add the plain yogurt and mix.
- Add 1/2 yogurt pot of oil and mix again.
- Add 3 yogurt pots of flour, baking powder and mix to obtain a smooth and homogeneous cake batter.
- Grease and flour a cake pan and pour in the batter. Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C or th.6. The cake is done if the tip of a knife inserted in the center comes out dry.
- Let the cake cool then cut it in half horizontally using a bread knife.
- Spread melted chocolate spread (easier to spread). If your chocolate spread does not spread well, warm it for a few seconds in the microwave.
- Close the cake.
- If the top of your cake forms a bump, cut it to have a flat surface.
- In a bowl, pour the milk chocolate cut into squares and the liquid cream. Melt the preparation in a double boiler or in the microwave until you obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
- Using a spatula, coat the cake with the chocolate preparation to cover all surfaces.
- Garnish the cake with the fingers. If the fingers are too big compared to the height of your cake, cut them to the same height.
- Sprinkle the top of the cake with Smarties and let the cake rest for at least 1 hour in the fridge so that the chocolate sets and holds the fingers well.
- You can decorate with ribbon, it's even prettier. Keep the cake in the fridge until serving!
