Ingredients for 4 parts
- 1 egg
- 20 g. sugar
- 20 g. powdered sugar
- 0.5 c. à c. ground cinnamon
- 150 g. soft / patent flour
- 2 c. à s. sunflower oil
- 100 ml. semi-skimmed milk
- 5 g. baking powder
- 2 apples red delicious
Steps
- Wash and core the apples. Cut them into slices about 5 mm thick.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add the egg and milk. Mix until you get a smooth batter.
- Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- Heat the sunflower oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Dip the apple slices in the batter and fry them in the pan until they are golden brown and crispy on each side.
- Drain the fritters on paper towels.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon before serving.
